I was listening to Joel Kennedy's testimony last night and I do believe he is one of the best witnesses I have ever come across. My biggest criticism when it comes to witnesses on the stand is they elaborate too much when a simple yes or no will do. Joel only elaborated when it was necessary AND more importantly, he didn't allow the defense attorney to get him riled up. The defense attorney, Anthony Cotton was quite condescending and insulting to Joel, and Joel kept his composure. People are more believable when they answer in a succinct, unemotional way.
