New Artwork

I like change, I always have, but for the sake of consistency, recognizability, etc. I have held off on changing my podcast artwork. But I'm always messing around with new music and the graphics side of things. I was experimenting with the new ai feature in Canva yesterday, I asked it to design some new cover art for Crimeatorium and it came up with something similar to what I'm now using. I wasn't able to use what it designed for me because it's not editable, the fonts can't be resized, etc. I tried to recreate it using Canva, but it looked so amateurish, so I turned to Adobe Express to see if I could get better results. I used Firefly, which is Adobe's ai program that will generate images and had it create the brick wall with the painted stripe going across the middle, then I did the rest. I'm real happy with the end result.

Long story short, it's hard to change the aspect in me that likes change. I look at two of my favorite podcasts, They Walk Among Us and Casefile, and they have stayed with the same artwork for years, and maybe that has in some way contributed to their success because it denotes stability, reliability and consistency. But it's just not in my DNA to not routinely change things up.

I hope the change in artwork is received well.
