I was just thinking this morning about the cases I cover on my podcast. A lot of them are about kidnapping and the abduction of young girls. My mom frequently hammered into my head growing up about the dangers of abduction, I think that's why I am drawn to those cases. I now find myself as a grandma being the same way with my granddaughter. I am always on high alert when she's outside playing, I just can't relax knowing there are dangerous people out there that prey on children . We live in a small town, and because of the cases I cover, I know better than to think crimes don't or won't happen here. So many of the cases I have covered, have happened in a small town.
