About Crimeatorium | The Story Behind the Podcast

About Crimeatorium True Crime

Crimeatorium began on a whim in July of 2020 and has since grown to reach listeners from around the globe. The goal has always been to focus on lesser-known cases while staying respectful of the victims and their families. Each episode is crafted with care, ensuring that every word contributes meaningfully to the story.

Crimeatorium has also been recognized by major media outlets. In 2021, HLN approached the podcast to collaborate with Barbara MacDonald, co-host of Down the Hill: The Delphi Murders, for an in-depth discussion about the Delphi case. This collaboration was a significant milestone, demonstrating Crimeatorium's dedication to quality storytelling in true crime.

About Madeline O’Brien

The host and creator of Crimeatorium, I’ve been fascinated by true crime since I was a young girl. My interest started with reading my mom's true crime books, followed by Forensic Files marathons, and devouring every Ann Rule book I could find. Podcasting became a natural extension of my love for reading, writing, and research.
